Good times. Good people. Good beer.

Sunday Road Brewing X Happy as Larry

The name ‘Sunday Road’ is a reminder that life is a journey, not a destination.

Whether you’re in need of a quick cheeky beverage or planning a marathon afternoon with your mates, we’ve found a brewery that has you covered. If you are yet to experience this space, don’t stress, Scout is here to keep you informed. Say hello to Sunday Road Brewing, an absolute gem hidden in the industrial area of Kirrawee. You’ll be kicking yourself for not trying it sooner.

Since opening its doors in 2018, Sunday Road Brewing has established itself as a crowd favourite with those lucky enough to find it. It’s all about that Sunday Feeling. Good times. Good people. Good beer. The brewery is 100% locally owned, born and raised in the Shire.

The brewery sits in a large, warehouse-style space, with soaring ceilings, exposed brick, ambient lighting and vintage green decor. This makes for the perfect place to kick back with a beer in hand.

Whether you prefer an IPA, Pale Ale, Lager, Coffee Lager or even a refreshing cider, here, there’s no doubt you’ll find a schooner you fancy. And to ensure you’re sorted, add on a deep red to pair with the mouth-watering Happy as Larry Pizza. We went with all three - Beer, Cider and Shiraz. Whoops.

Our recent visit coincided with the Happy as Larry Pizza truck pop-up. Lucky us. Forget stuffed crusts or overflowing toppings, Happy as Larry serve traditional Napoli Wood Fired Pizza that's all about minimal ingredients and maximum flavour. We grabbed some of their specials - Lasagne Pizza and the Trio of Mushroom w/ truffle oil. They were THAT good, we’ve already re-booked for when they return. Did we mention the price? All pizzas are only $15! We repeat - $15!

Sunday Road Brewing is home to different delicious food trucks every weekend! Keep an eye out on their socials to stay up to date with their next pop-up. Not starving? Sunday Road also offer Cheese Platters from The Grate Cheese Co in Gymea. We can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
