Women Supporting Women: The Shire’s Most Powerful High Tea Is Back
A big night of connection, community and giving back
2025 Venue: Hazel, Gymea
Clear your calendars for Thursday the 26th of June 2025 — Women Supporting Women is making its return, and it’s shaping up to be one of the Shire’s most meaningful events of the year.
Now in its second year, the networking high tea and fundraising event is all about connection, community and stepping up for women and families impacted by domestic violence. Last year’s event raised $48,000 for local charity The Family Co., and this year, the team behind it — Southern Waters Legal — are going even bigger.
Held at the stunning Hazel Kitchen and Bar, nestled within the iconic Hazelhurst Arts Centre in Gymea, the event brings together local businesswomen, founders, creatives and change-makers for an evening of stories, insights and serious generosity. With more than 200 tickets available, the team is hoping to exceed last year’s incredible donations and connect with an even wider community.
There’ll be a live panel unpacking real issues faced by women in business, plus a stacked auction list with everything from luxury getaways and art to beauty treatments and designer pieces.
And while the vibe may be warm and inspiring, the mission is serious: every dollar raised will go directly to The Family Co., who provide crucial support to women and families escaping violence here in the Shire.
What’s on Offer?
The Shire always shows up, so this isn’t your average raffle table. Over 200 local businesses have thrown their support behind the cause, from Pure Reformer and Glow Parlour to Alana Maria, Balsam Hill and Status Anxiety.
Some of the standout items include a diamond tennis bracelet valued at $4,500, a two-night stay at Woodstock Homestead for up to 10 people, a Bally handbag worth $3,000, an exclusive original artwork by Belinda Nadwie, luxe glamping stays, and plenty more.
There’ll be a silent and live auction on the night, plus a limited online auction for anyone who can’t make it in person.
Everyone Walks Away with Something
Attendees will also receive a gift bag valued at over $180, packed with skincare, beauty, wellness goodies and reformer class passes. It’s a small thank-you for being part of something bigger.
Want In?
Tickets are limited, and last year’s event sold out fast. Whether you’re coming for the cause, the connections or the chance to bid on a weekend away in Berry — it’s one to mark in the calendar.
