Mosey Down To The Meat Store’s New Location

After bringing sustainably sourced, free range and organic produce to the Shire community since 2011, the family behind this cornerstone business have officially levelled up. In a big gear change, The Meat Store has re-opened in a brand new, bigger-and-better space and expanded their offering to span a huge number of new gourmet products and fresh groceries, plus all of the high-quality ones you already know and love. Hurry Over To Hurricanes
Have you heard? Hurricanes have hit the shores of Cronulla - and it’s far from your run-of-the-mill restaurant. Designed by renowned architecture studio Luchetti Krelle, the grotto-like, sculptural interiors have to be seen to be believed. Of course, Hurricanes menu favourites are on offer, as well as some new specially-developed additions that pay homage to its Shire location. We’re talking lots of Australian-sourced seafood.

Lend Your Ears To Elvis - And Raise Funds While You’re At It
Elvis is coming to Kirrawee on August 26th - and so is a very important cause. If you’re a fan of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, this special event ‘Elvis: The King Of Fundraising’, which runs from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, will be right up your alley. In partnership with Sunday Road Brewing and Sophie B Photography, the event promises a night of iconic music hits performed by some of the Shire’s best up-and-coming talent. Money from each ticket purchased will go towards supporting Love Your Sister, a charity whose aim is to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and treatment, with a particular focus on fighting its rare and hard-to-treat forms. The event is brought to us by local brothers Lachlan and Justin Hess, who lost their sister Nicole to a rare form of cancer in 2020.
