Well, we made it. No matter how you feel about 2025, it’s time to wave a bittersweet goodbye and usher in 2026. And you might as well do it in style.
Luckily, there are plenty of ways to do so in the Shire, from bottomless NYE celebrations to parties flowing right into the next day. So, to send off this year with a bang, here’s Scout’s guide to what’s on in the Shire this New Year’s Eve - and the following day.
What’s On In The Shire This New Year’s Eve (And Day)
Sealevel
If New Year’s Eve by the water is your thing, Sealevel has it covered with two sittings to match your plans. Start early with seatings at 5:30pm or 6:00pm, choosing from a two-course menu, seafood platters, or a dedicated kids menu if the whole crew’s coming along. From 8:30pm, Sealevel shifts into party mode with an 18+ degustation dinner, live music entertainment and optional matched wines. This is the kind of NYE we can get around. Bookings are essential.
Fior
Looking for a party before the party? Kick off your NYE celebrations at Fior with a two-hour free-flowing lunch that sets the tone early. Things get underway at 12:30pm with a Spritz on arrival, followed by bottomless pours and a menu that hits all the Fior classics — focaccia, arancini, prawn cocktail and pastas, with the option to dip into the regular menu favourites too. Walk-ins are welcome where possible, but this one’s a book-ahead situation if you don’t want to miss out.
Feros Group Venues
Feros Group is dialling up the celebrations this New Year’s Eve across some of the Shire’s favourite spots. The Prince Hotel, The Botanical at Highfields and Call Me Mamma are all stepping things up with exclusive NYE events — think curated set menus, drinks packages, live DJs and even a photobooth. And the celebrations don’t stop at midnight. Ease into 2026 at Parc Pavilion’s New Year’s Day Recovery Party, complete with a two-hour Italian-inspired food and drinks package. The kind of January 1st we can all get around.
Bobbys
It’s a two-day affair at by-the-sea favourite Bobby’s. The team is teaming up with 1800 Tequila for New Year’s Eve, with two sittings on offer: 5:30pm to 8:00pm ($180 per person) or 8:00pm ‘til late ($220 per person). Expect a set menu packed with Bobby’s signature flavours, plus a cocktail on arrival to kick things off properly. The celebrations roll straight into January 1st with Bobby’s New Year’s Day Long Lunch. There are two relaxed three-hour sittings to choose from, starting at midday or 3:30pm, each with a 1800 Tequila Margarita on arrival and a set menu worthy of your first meal of the year. Summer Salt
Summer Salt is heading into 2026 in style with two days of beachside celebrations. New Year’s Eve is split across two dinner sittings: an early sitting from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, featuring a three-course menu and snacks ($129 per adult, $65 per child), or a later sitting from 8:00pm, with a five-course menu and DJ entertainment ($195 per adult).
The party rolls on New Year’s Day with the return of Summer Salt’s iconic NYD White Party from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Expect a sun-soaked afternoon of DJ beats, a live band, roaming canapés and serious beach views. Tickets are $99 per person and include entry, entertainment and canapés. Bookings are essential for both events.
Papa Js
Ring in 2026 at Papa J’s New Year’s Eve party. With a live DJ from 8:00pm and the kitchen and bar open late, their chic, ’50s-inspired bar sets the scene for a stylish start to the new year. If you’re not quite done celebrating, ease into January 1st at Papa J’s with a DJ from 3:00pm. Entry is free and walk-ins are more than welcome.
Cronulla RSL
Cronulla RSL is throwing a New Year’s Eve party that ticks all the boxes — great food, flowing drinks and a live band to keep you dancing into 2026. From 7:00pm, settle in for a five-course dinner paired with a four-hour beverage package. It’s an 18+ event priced at $160 per person, and if history’s anything to go by, this one fills fast — so booking ahead is a must.
St George Sailing Club
Ring in the New Year at St George Sailing Club's 'A Night of Mediterranean Glamour' New Year’s Eve Party! This iconic event promises an unforgettable evening packed with canapés, DJs, live music and roving entertainment to keep the party going late into the night. Tickets start at $169 for members, $179 for non-members, or $250 per person for a VIP experience.
