Grams of Health Private Cooking Classes

If you’ve been looking for a fun, interactive way to celebrate an occasion and bring people together, consider this your sign: Grams of Health is where good food, good company, and good times collide.

Founded by Nikki Lancaster and run by a team of Accredited Practicing Dietitians, Nutritionists, and Cooking Coaches based in the Sutherland Shire, these classes blend culinary skills with nutrition know-how — without ever feeling like a lecture. Think practical cooking tips, fresh ingredients, and an atmosphere that’s relaxed, social, and full of laughter.

Whether it’s a workplace in need of a morale boost, a hens party searching for a hands-on activity, a Christmas celebration, a birthday gathering, or simply a group of friends wanting an excuse to get together, these private classes suit just about any occasion. As Nikki puts it, “It’s about keeping it fun and interactive, with plenty of education woven throughout.”

Grams of Health specialises in bespoke, fully mobile cooking experiences.

They can come to you — at home, in the office, at an Airbnb — or host your group at one of their partner venues across Sydney. All equipment, ingredients, and recipes are supplied, and the team can fully cater cocktails or keep things BYO depending on the event and your budget. Each class runs across two or three courses, with time built in to sip, cook, eat, and enjoy each dish. Dietary needs are also taken care of, making the experience seamless for every guest.

It’s part team bonding session, part cooking school, part dinner party — and entirely designed around having a good time. The team works across brand activations too, including a recent multi-day event with Status Anxiety that combined catering, pasta-making workshops, and a very impressive snack station.

So, what’s on the menu?

Grams of Health offers a range of class themes. It’s no surprise that Tacos and Tequila are always a favourite, while Pasta-Making sessions turn into a full production of rolling, shaping, and carb-loading. Dumpling classes add an Asian-inspired twist, and the Charcuterie and Spritz experience centres around crafting your own grazing board paired with a classic spritz.

For Christmas events and corporate bookings, Nikki’s team often incorporates a friendly competitive twist — think team-versus-team cook-offs and timed challenges that add an extra layer of entertainment.

“As a team of dietitians and nutritionists, our guests walk away talking about how fresh and balanced the food feels, even after indulging across multiple courses”, shares Nikki.

Grams of Health offers bespoke packages with per-head pricing and minimum spend options to suit different group sizes, with all experiences tailored around your time frame, preferred theme, or event style.

Social, hands-on, fun, and genuinely delicious, these classes are an easy win — especially heading into the festive season. To enquire and chat all things themes, event style and bespoke packages, click here.
