NOA Is Coming To Cronulla This September
Cronulla’s dining scene is getting a major new addition
NOA, Cronulla
Cronulla’s dining scene is about to welcome a pretty big new name, with chef Nelly Robinson, the man behind Surry Hills restaurant NEL, set to open NOA overlooking the Cronulla coastline this September.
Taking over the former The Pines site, NOA will bring Robinson’s signature experience-led dining to Cronulla, alongside a second, more casual concept, Little NOA.
Robinson and partner Danielle Richards-Robinson are both Cronulla locals and have designed the venue to offer the kind of restaurant experience locals might usually head into the city for, while keeping things relaxed enough to feel at home by the beach. The fit-out will lean into a Tulum-inspired aesthetic, bringing a relaxed, coastal feel to the oceanfront space.
The à la carte menu will champion seasonal produce, with early highlights including Pork & Truffle Hot Dogs, Bug Toast, premium rib-eye, whole fish for sharing and Robinson’s signature Banoffee Trifle.
There will also be a Champagne and caviar trolley, dishes finished tableside, a dedicated wine room where guests can build their own cheese board and two private dining rooms.
“You might come in for a steak and a glass of wine, or spend the afternoon sharing snacks before finishing with our chef’s menu. It’s your experience. We simply help shape it,” Robinson says.
Next door, Little NOA will be the laidback sibling of the two, serving burgers, snacks and cocktails with walk-ins welcome for anyone wandering up from the beach. Weekend breakfast will join the lineup from October.
NOA will open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on weekends, while Little NOA will open Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00pm till late.
NOA and Little NOA will be located at 1/8–18 Kingsway, Cronulla. For updates ahead of the September opening, follow @noa_restaurant_cronulla on Instagram.
