Something exciting is about to land in Cronulla, and it’s already got our attention. This May, Adam and Kylie Micola, the dynamic duo behind Bobbys, are opening their latest venture, Meadow. Set to elevate the local dining scene, Meadow promises the perfect blend of music, food, and vibes.
Located in the space once home to Papa J’s, Meadow will offer a unique, music-forward, drinks-led experience. With a carefully curated live music program focusing on vinyl records, the venue will effortlessly transition from relaxed daytime dining to a vibrant evening atmosphere, making it ideal for everything from casual lunches to late-night cocktails.
As the Micola’s third venue under their new hospitality group, Anyway Hospitality, Meadow is all about creating spaces that feel immersive and memorable. Adam shares,
“This venue is an exciting step for us, as a sister venue to Bobbys, Meadow will offer a place where sound, atmosphere and people meet without pretense.
Launching Anyway Hospitality feels like a natural progression for us. The name really reflects our philosophy in creating places that give people a reason to go out, shape their mood and carry the moment. As we grow Anyway Hospitality, our intention is to create spaces that become more immersive, more memorable, and harder to leave."
The menu, crafted by executive chef Pablo Tordesillas, takes inspiration from the laid-back charm of a French bistro with a modern twist. Opening dishes include Gougères with comté and anchovy, Duck liver parfait with toasted baguette and onion jam, Moreton Bay bug with rouille and frites, Grilled black angus portoro sirloin with au poivre and frites, and the must-try Meadow prime cheeseburger with café de Paris butter.
As for drinks, think quality-driven cocktails, a strong selection of wines by the glass and an emphasis on champagne.
Plus, a daily aperitif hour is set to make an appearance, providing the perfect transition from day to night.
Designed by the talented team at Tom Mark Henry (the same designers behind Bobbys), the interiors at Meadow exude quiet sophistication — warm, refined, and perfectly crafted to set the mood, no matter the time of day.
