Jannali just got itself a serious drinks upgrade. Bottle Keg Can is the boutique bottle shop shaking up the local scene with craft beers, curated spirits, and small-batch wines you won’t find on supermarket shelves.

“It’s all about discovery and experience,” says owner, Mark. “Everything here is carefully chosen so people not only leave with something unique, but also the knowledge of how to enjoy it — whether that’s pairing it with food, mixing a cocktail, or finding the right gift.”

Step inside and you’ll find more than 350 craft beers, an ever-expanding collection of boutique spirits, and a wine machine pouring four rotating drops to taste. And if you drop in on a Friday night, you’ll often catch a free tasting with the makers themselves, giving you the real story behind what’s in your glass.

Tucked out the back is where things get really interesting.

The shop’s purpose-built tasting room plays host to whisky flights, cocktail workshops, and private sessions — the kind of pre-dinner activity that turns “just a drink” into something memorable. Handy, too, with the shop sitting right across from Jannali Station.

And when it comes to bigger gatherings?

Bottle Keg Can has thought of that too. Their custom party packages are tailored to your guest list, with Mark able to advise exactly how much you’ll need and recommend drinks to suit your crowd. Add catering from Steak Out Butchery or even flowers from Fleur My Darling, and you’ve got the makings of a celebration that’s fully covered. Delivery or pick-up — sorted.

The line-up is always evolving, but one current show-stopper is the Banks & Solander Limecello from Botany — a zesty spin on limoncello that’s just as good sipped neat as it is shaken into a margarita. And if you’re buying for someone else? Forget second-guessing. Bring in a photo of their fridge or wine rack, set a budget, and the team will curate a line-up or gift box guaranteed to impress.

“At its core, it’s about making the drinks experience better for people — whether that’s discovering something new, learning how to mix a cocktail, or making gifting simple,” says Mark.

Bottle Keg Can is open Wednesday to Sunday, with tastings, events, and workshops available to book online.
